A great idea to extend the fun of learning is to hold an After School Science Club
run by us around Kent/Surrey & Sussex.
We are happy to visit your school to provide a single session or perhaps a run of
5 weekly sessions of about 45 mins to either KS1 or KS2 pupils.
The idea of these clubs is make science fun but educational too, and each week there
would be a different topic to look at and each pupil will have the chance to play
with items that we bring in relating to those topics and also sometimes making science
toys like periscopes, spinners etc that that can take home.
At the end of some sessions a follow up sheet is given to each child to do something
at home too and also members can enter competitions via this web page related to
There is no cost to the school but a charge is made to each child per week. (Monies
to be paid in advance). The workshops should be in a class room.
We are also happy to visit your school before a proposed list of dates and provide
a presentation in an Assembly to promote the club. This would be free of charge.
We are STEM Ambassadors helping to promote science to younger children.
